Congratulations to Golden Gavel 2018 winner – Myles Brown (DCLS)

Congratulations to Golden Gavel 2018 winner, Myles Brown (DCLS) for his performance of “Swipe right. I’m a lawyer” in this year’s Golden Gavel competition, held at the NT Supreme Court on 14 September 2018, of which William Forster Chambers is a sponsor.  As winner of 2018’s Golden Gavel, Myles will be travelling to Adelaide to compete at the National Golden Gavel Competition on 19 October 2018.

Judges of the competition, Justice Peter Barr, Lyma Nguyen from William Forster Chambers and Melissa Yates from Ward Keller also congratulate People’s Choice winner, Melissa Chen (NTLAC), for her hilarious performance of “That wasn’t perjury … that was an alternate fact”, which was a brutal parody of life in the criminal law!

The evening was a barrel of laughs, with much talent on display from competitors Eleonor Martin, Tess Kelly, Lang Williamson, Pat Govey and Rashini Fernando.
